LightCater is a small piece of software for small event teams. We make the parts of the job that should be quick — quoting, contracting, invoicing, writing the BEO — actually quick. And we deliberately leave out the parts of enterprise software that you'd never use.

Why we built it

The first event-management app that stayed light.

Most software for our industry follows the same pattern: it starts simple, gets bought by a bigger company, then bloats into enterprise sprawl with PMS sync, POS integration, recipe costing, multi-property dashboards. The price climbs. The interface gets crowded. The small banquet halls and independent caterers it started serving get squeezed out.

LightCater is built deliberately to stay on the other side of that line. One flat monthly fee. Customer to invoice in one app. No upsells, no usage meters, no "contact sales for pricing." The simple way to run banquets and events — and that's the whole product strategy.

Every new feature we ship is one our customers asked for and would notice if it disappeared. We say no to a lot — multi-property, recipe costing, PMS integrations — because they'd make LightCater heavier without making it more useful for the venues we serve.

02 · Honest pricing

One flat fee, written on the homepage.

$59/month for 2 users + $14 per additional user. AI Agent add-on is optional and clearly priced. No tiers, no usage meters, no "contact sales." If we change the price, we tell you in plain English in advance.

03 · Real support

A real person, within 45 minutes.

Email, phone or chat goes to one of our four offices. Average reply time is 45 minutes across all hours. No tier-1 chatbots, no "ticket-deflection" scripts. The person you reach has used the product daily.

04 · Your data is yours

Exportable. Always. No exit fees.

If LightCater isn't the right fit any more, your full data history — customers, events, proposals, contracts, invoices, BEOs — exports cleanly. No retention hostage-taking, no fees for closing your account.
