What it does

Every morning, a briefing instead of a backlog.

LightCater looks at the email that came in since yesterday (since Friday on a Monday) and your flagged follow-ups. It matches senders to your contacts, finds their upcoming events and writes a short summary you can read in a minute.

Tasks

From email to event task, in one click.

When an email asks you to do something for an event, the task is already there. Tick it off when it's done, or add it to the event so the whole team sees it, with the email subject saved as a note.

How it works

Set up in two minutes.

  1. Switch on the add-on in the in-app Marketplace.
  2. Connect your mailbox: Outlook / Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Zoho Mail. Each user connects their own.
  3. Open LightCater in the morning. Your summary and today's tasks are waiting on the home page.

LightCater only reads your email: it never sends, moves or deletes anything. Summaries are stored encrypted and deleted after 30 days, and disconnecting your mailbox deletes them right away.

The summary uses LightCater's AI, or your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini account if you use the Bring your own AI add-on.

Inbox summary questions.

Which email accounts work?
Outlook and Microsoft 365, Google Workspace (company accounts) and Zoho Mail. Each user connects their own mailbox.
Can LightCater send or delete my email?
No. It has read-only access: it reads new messages to write the summary and never sends, moves or deletes anything.
What happens to my email data?
Only the summary is kept, encrypted, for up to 30 days. Disconnect your mailbox and your summaries are deleted.
Do I need the AI Assistant add-on?
No. The inbox summary works on its own. If you use Bring your own AI, it runs on your own AI account.
What does it cost?
